In the age of robot vacuum cleaners (Roomba and similar), many believe that central vacuuming is obsolete. This is a serious technical error. From the perspective of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), central vacuuming is unbeatable and should be a key selling point.

The Physics of Filtration:

Regular/Robot Vacuum Cleaners: They vacuum up dust and return the air to the environment through a filter. Even with HEPA filters, microparticles of dust and mites end up being reintroduced into the air we breathe.

Central Vacuuming: The motor is located in the garage or laundry room. The vacuumed air (with the dust) is transported through pipes in the walls, and the exhaust is directed outside the house or to a separate technical area. Result: 100% removal of allergens from the living area. There is no "vacuum cleaner smell".
