The Technology Behind the Image: We don´t just paste photos of sofas on top of the room image. We use 3D modeling software that applies:

Ray Tracing: Simulates the physical behavior of light. If the window is on the right, the shadow of the virtual sofa is correctly projected to the left, with the exact penumbra corresponding to the time of day in the photo.

Ambient Occlusion: Calculates how light reflects off corners and textures (carpets, wood), creating real depth.

The Result in the Portal Algorithm: Real estate portals (Idealista, Imovirtual) prioritize ads where the user spends the most time (Time on Page). An empty photo holds attention for 2 seconds.
